Domino’s – More Than Cheese-less Pizza on this Dairy-Free Menu

does domino's use eggs in their dough

Last Update in February 2024! Domino’s Pizza is one of the largest pizza chains with thousands of locations worldwide. They rebranded to just Domino’s several years ago since they now offer much more than pizza. Not to mention, single names seem to be the trend lately (just ask Jamba and Dunkin’). No matter what you call them, this pizza institution has quite a few dairy-free options! We’ve outlined all of the choices below, including custom order and build-your-own notes. This U.S. and Canadian guide also covers vegan needs, and includes allergen notes.

Domino’s Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Allergen Notes & Vegan Options

Other Allergen & Dietary Notes: According to our most recent review, all of the non-dairy items below are also made without eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts. We have labeled the items that contain wheat and/or soy below. For vegan options, see the Vegan Menu Guide at the bottom of this post.

Chicken

  • Boneless Chicken (contains wheat)
  • Plain Chicken Wings
  • Honey BBQ Chicken Wings
  • Hot Buffalo Chicken Wings
  • Sweet Mango Habenero Chicken Wings

Heads up! All of the Specialty Chicken Bites contain milk. You can technically custom order them without milk, but then they’re basically the boneless chicken with sauce. Please note that the Grilled Chicken (in the U.S.) does contain buttermilk and other dairy ingredients in the seasoning. It is different from the Boneless Chicken, which is made without milk. Where available, the Mild Buffalo Chicken Wings also contain milk.

Dipping Sauces & Cups

  • Garlic (contains soy)
  • Honey BBQ
  • Hot Buffalo
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Sweet Mango Habanero

Heads Up! The Sweet Icing and Ranch Dipping Cups do contain milk. (In Canada, the Sweet Icing might be dairy-free). Where available, the Mild Buffalo Sauce also contains milk (it is listed incorrectly on their allergen chart as milk-free).

Pizzas

Heads Up! Domino’s has not introduced a dairy-free cheese alternative in North America yet, so all pizzas must be custom ordered without cheese. See the lists below for all custom order options.

Pizza Crusts

  • Gluten-Free Crust
  • Thin Crust (contains soy, wheat)
  • Phase Oil / Pan Spray (contains soy)

Heads Up! The Brooklyn-Style, Handmade Pan, Hand Tossed, and Whole Grain (Canada only) pizza crusts each contain whey / dairy.

Pizza Sauces

  • Robust Inspired Tomato Sauce / Classic Pizza Sauce (contains soy)
  • Honey BBQ Sauce

Heads Up! The Hearty Marinara Sauce, Alfredo Sauce, Garlic Parmesan Sauce, and Ranch Sauce at Domino’s all contain milk.

Meat Toppings

  • Anchovies (contains soy)
  • Bacon
  • BBQ Chicken with Sauce (See Note Below; contains soy)
  • Beef
  • Ham
  • Italian Sausage
  • Pepperoni
  • Philly Meat (contains soy)
  • Salami
  • Shrimp (regional)

Heads Up! The Premium Grilled Chicken (in the U.S.) and Chorizo at Domino’s do contain milk. The Premium Grilled Chicken is often used on Domino’s BBQ Chicken pizza. The BBQ Chicken with Sauce seems to have limited availability. So use caution and inquire before ordering any chicken toppings. In Canada, the Grilled Chicken topping is made without milk, but the Donair Sauce used on their Donair Meat contains milk.

Other Toppings

  • Banana Peppers
  • Black Olives
  • Crushed Red Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Garlic & Herb Shake-on (contains soy)
  • Green Chile Peppers
  • Green Peppers
  • Green Olives
  • Jalapeno Peppers
  • Mushrooms
  • Onions
  • Oregano Blend Shake-on
  • Pepperoncini
  • Pineapple
  • Roasted Red Peppers
  • Spinach
  • Tomatoes

Heads Up! Domino’s has a Garlic Oil Blend that contains parmesan cheese. Make sure it isn’t brushed on your pizza. Their Phase Oil / Butter Flavored Oil does not contain milk.

Breads & Baked Dips

Heads Up! All of the Bread Twists and Sticks at Domino’s Pizza are made with their Pan Dough (U.S.) or Hand Tossed Dough (Canada), so they can’t be ordered without milk.

Desserts

Heads Up! All desserts at Domino’s Pizza contain milk. All of their Bread Twists are made with their Pan Dough (U.S.) or Hand Tossed Dough (Canada), so the Cinnamon Twists cannot be ordered without milk.

Sandwiches

  • Italian (no cheese)
  • Mediterranean Veggie (no cheese)
  • Philly Steak (no cheese)

Heads Up! The Sandwich Bread at Domino’s is dairy-free, and so is their Butter Flavored Oil (Phase Oil), but some locations also have Hoagies, and their Hoagie Bread does contain milk. The Grilled Chicken used on their sandwiches also contains milk in the seasoning.

Salads

  • Classic Garden (no cheese, no croutons)

Dairy-Free Salad Dressings: Balsamic (contains soy)

Heads Up! Domino’s lists their croutons as containing milk, but according to their ingredients, the Brioche Garlic Croutons do not contain milk. Check the ingredients at your location to see what is available.

Pastas

Heads Up! Both the Hearty Marinara Sauce and Alfredo Sauce contain milk. So if you really want pasta, you’ll need to speak with a staff member to custom order another sauce option. Use the pizza sauce and topping guides above. The Bread Bowl offered at some locations also contains milk.

U.K. and Australia Domino’s

This guide is for the U.S., and has notes for some differences in Canada. Options vary in the U.K. and Australia, where dairy-free cheese and vegan meat toppings are available.
