A Basis for Blackmail is a Relationship Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Basis for Blackmail mission.
Location: World Map -> Hogsmeade Valley Quest Giver: Natsai Onai Quest Level: Level 25 Requirement: Having Finished Relationship Quest: Mum’s the Word and Main Quest: In the Shadow of the Mine Reward: 180 XP Mission Info: Natty sent me another owl saying that she can sneak away without her mother knowing. I’m to meet her outside Hogsmeade.

Objectives:
- Speak with Natty outside of Hogsmeade
- Speak with Agabus Philbert
- Speak with Daisy Rabe
- Speak with Otto Dibble
- Return to the meeting spot to update Natty
- Search for Natta near the Hog’s Head Inn
- Search for Natty by casting Revelio
- Follow the trail
- Enter the cellar
- Search the cellar
- Find Natty
- Optional: Find Agabus Philbert’s book of poems
- Optional: Find Otto Dibble’s love letter
- Speak with Isko Rabe
- Find and return Isko Rabe’s wand
- Wait for Mr Rabe to dispel the curses
- Find a way out of the Aswinder’s hideout
- Speak with Officer Singer
Starting Location: A Basis for Blackmail
Speak with Natty outside of Hogsmeade
Just talk to Natty outside of Hogsmeade.
Speak with Agabus Philbert
Just follow the quest marker to find Agabus Philbert.
Speak with Daisy Rabe
Follow the quest marker to find Daisy Rabe inside the Three Broomsticks on the third floor.
Speak with Otto Dibble
Just follow the quest marker to find Otto Dibble.
Return to the meeting spot to update Natty
After talking to all three people, return to Natty.
Search for Natta near the Hog’s Head Inn
Natty isn’t there, so follow the quest marker to the back of Hog’s Head Inn and pick up her wand.
Search for Natty by casting Revelio

Cast Revelio to find a trail.
Follow the trail
Follow the trail, if you lost it just cast Revelio again.
Enter the cellar
Just enter the cellar that you found thanks to the trail.
Search the cellar
Cast Accio on both barrels to the left and right to pull them out of the wall. Doing this will open a door.
Find Natty
Follow the path and you will end up in a room full of enemies.
Defeat all enemies in this room. Then follow the quest marker to find Natty.
Optional: Find Agabus Philbert’s book of poems
Agabu’s book is in a chest on a bar in the room full of enemies.
Optional: Find Otto Dibble’s love letter
From Agabu’s book turn around and open the chest on the opposite of the book.
Speak with Isko Rabe
Just talk to Isko in his cell.
Find and return Isko Rabe’s wand
Isko’s wand is next to the cell on the table. Cast Revlio to reveal the chest. Pick up the wand and give it to Isko.
Wait for Mr Rabe to dispel the curses
Just wait for Mr Rabe to finish his dialogue.
Find a way out of the Aswinder’s hideout
Now get out of the hideout by following the quest marker.
Speak with Officer Singer
Talk to Officer Singer right outside the hideout.
This finishes A Basis for Blackmail Quest in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy.
