Lake Wenatchee State Park is a waterfront park on the 5-mile-long, glacier-fed Lake Wenatchee and Wenatchee River located near the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth. The park is a natural wildlife area so visitors should be aware of the presence of bears and other natural dangers.
Winter recreation
During winter, enjoy groomed cross-country and skate ski trails, a groomed sled hill and marked snowshoe trails. Winter camping with heated restrooms and showers is also available. Watch a YouTube video about winter sports in the park.

Sites 89-100 in the South Campground and 101-112 in the North Campground are not reservable. Water and electric RV sites are available in the North Campground only, however, only six first-come, first-served sites have hookups. Due to narrow roadways, RV and trailer combinations over 20 feet are not allowed in the South Campground area. Water and restrooms are available within the campgrounds.
During the fall, campground closures are weather dependent. Campgrounds may remain open and reservable into late October. Once the snow arrives campgrounds will close.
Please come prepared with cash or check. Park Booths are only open weekends in the fall. Self-serve registration is available.

Lake Wenatchee Camp Store
Stop by the Lake Wenatchee Park Store for prepared foods, snacks, beverages, ice cream, espresso, camping supplies, firewood, ice and other camping necessities. The store is open daily 9 – 6 and Sundays 9-4 from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. In addition, the store is open on many weekends throughout the fall, winter, and spring.
