Costco Kirkland Signature Cherry Danish Review

Costco cherry danish is full of sweet cherry filling surrounded by crispy, golden and flaky pastry!

Last week I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Almond Danishes and this week I’ve decided to review the Costco Kirkland Signature Cherry Danishes!

Taste

These are delicious in my opinion. I love cherry pie and the filling tastes like cherry pie filling and it isn’t overly sweet. There’s chunks of actual cherry which I like.

The pastry itself is buttery, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and fairly flaky. We ate them a day after they were purchased and they had already gone a bit soggy. I prefer to eat the cherry danishes heated up a little in the microwave, trust me, they taste sooo much better heated up a tad bit!

Two containers of danishes at Costco is $12.99 Canadian. You have to buy two packs of danishes, you can’t buy just one. $12.99 Canadian for eight grocery store danishes seems a tad on the expensive side to me.

Convenience

The best before date is two days from the date the danishes were packaged on. They come in a plastic resealable container and freeze well!

These are a delicious breakfast, snack, dessert or brunch treat!

Nutrition

So not healthy but so good. One cherry danish is 470 calories, 23 grams of fat, 400 mg of sodium, 59 grams of carbohydrates, two grams of fibre, seven grams of protein and 25 grams of sugar.
